Delivering
the content
FTP
You can
deliver your content to IA-Connections using FTP or by email.
FTP is likely to be the most efficient, if you have a number of
large files.
If you need an FTP tool you can search the
Web for a free FTP tool. There are many available and there are
also some that offer free trials.
EMAIL
You can deliver your content by attaching
it to email(s). We recommend that you keep the size of the attachment
to 1 megabyte or less so it may take more than one email. You can
zip your content which will considerably reduce the size.
CD
If you have the tools you can burn a CD with
your content and mail the CD to IA-Connections at 16964 Columbia
River Drive, Sonora, CA 95370.
What is FTP
FTP
Explorer is a File Transfer Protocol client.
You
can use an FTP client tool to transfer files to and
from your computer to an FTP server.
Most
web servers offer FTP capability, so you can use FTP to easily transfer
your web site files from your computer up to the web site. It
is generally easier, faster,
and more efficient to transfer
your files using FTP rather than other methods.
There
are many public FTP servers available from which you can download
files from. FTP
Explorer provides a default list of servers
that you can connect to immediately after you install it.
